ACT to Salesforce Data Migration or Import 

 

eyeQ CRM's Migration Service imports your ACT databases(s) into Salesforce.com.

While no two migrations are alike we can migrate into Salesforce:

1. Contacts and /or “Hyperlink Companies” to Accounts
2. Contacts to Contacts
3. Activities to Tasks & Events
4. Note History to Note, Completed Tasks or Events
5. Opportunities to Opportunities
6. Custom fields to Salesforce, as required

The migration process is very flexible, so if you have any specific requirements we can certainly address those as well.

 

Data Cleansing

We also, where possible, and where requested, clean up the source data.
As an example we could apply a "proper case" filter to the firstname & lastname fields.

 

Deduplcation

eyeQ can also provide  an account and/or contact deduplication service. Based on a specific criteria matched records can be merged  or deleted  as required.
 

Process Overview

1. Obtain a backup/copy of your ACT data ( usually via FTP )
2. Setup the trail migration
3. Adapt, as required, to your requirements
4. Migrate a small subset of the data for testing and evaluation
5. Modify , if required
6. Take a final copy of the ACT data ~ 2 business days prior to “going live” in Salesforce
7. Migrate
    

 We also can import data into Salesforce  from virtually any other source
